A man last seen wearing a white T-shirt, hat, work gloves and dark pants was captured on a home video surveillance during one of three of the home burglaries in the north end of Rye, which took place between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 20.
Officials said the suspect attempted to open two doors of a Forest Avenue home before entering two cars in the area. He then took a shot at two Grace Church Street homes, one of which he entered another vehicle.
It is not clear if he made off with any items from the cars, though he didn't gain entry to any of the homes.
